Problem:
Hypa needed a strong visual identity and website to establish credibility in the BigCommerce app ecosystem—particularly for small to mid-sized merchants seeking accessible, high-quality tools without the cost of custom development.
Process:
The project began with defining Hypa’s brand identity. After designing the logo, I developed a broader visual system using geometric shapes to symbolize modular building blocks, mirroring the brand’s mission to empower merchants with easy-to-use app solutions. To convey a sense of innovation and limitless potential, while subtly aligning with Hypa’s parent agency Space 48, I drew inspiration from space imagery, using abstract shapes and bold typography to create visual flow and guide the user’s journey through the site.The goal was to balance a modern, tech-forward feel with clarity and trustworthiness.

For the logo, I explored multiple directions focused on space and tech themes. The final design needed to scale well for use across app listings and the website, maintaining legibility at small sizes while still expressing the brand’s core values.

The result is a distinctive brand presence that positions Hypa as a serious player in the BigCommerce ecosystem.
